THOR Global’s Thor Trax mobile track system is suitable for moving mining equipment quickly and safety.
The system can be used, instead of a loader, to move various types of equipment such as crushers, screeners, stackers, grinders and trailers by using a fifth wheel hookup.
The company says the unit works especially well with all ThorStack2 telescopic stackers and effectively increases onsite mobility.
The Thor Trax can be fitted with an external electrical power supply hookup or an independent diesel genset engine.
All standard units are wired directly to a push button control box, which is configured with two speed settings (85fpm and 170fpm). Optional wireless remote operation capabilities are available upon request. All units are equipped with an emergency stop push button located directly at the base of the unit.
