RIEGL have launched the latest range of laser scanners for coal mining applications.
According to the manufacturer, the V-Line scanners are the first to offer online full-waveform analysis, digital processing and exceptional data capture rates.
The product features scanning rates up to 100 scans per second, and pulse repetition rates up to 200kHz. It also delivers multiple, unlimited target capability and has a lightweight design, weighing in at under 10kg.
According to the company, the new range is able to capture millimetre accurate measurements at ranges up of to 500m.
It includes interfaces for GPS, networking and mobile operation, together with high precision time stamping.
The new range is available with a variety of additional options including camera, cableless operation and additional data storage.
