SANDVIK will launch its DM130 bolter for underground coal mining operations at the 2008 MinExpo in Las Vegas.
The modified mobile bolter is specifically designed for place-change operations and room-and-pillar workings. The unit features two bolting booms that are accessible via a walk-through chassis.
The bolter’s one metre chassis height makes the unit suitable for operation in low to medium seams.
